Creamy Garlic Parmesan Chicken (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - 1 teaspoon salt
03 - 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
04 - 1 teaspoon paprika
05 - 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
06 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1 cup heavy cream
08 - 1/2 cup chicken broth
09 - 3/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
10 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning or dried thyme
11 - 1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped
12 - Cooked pasta or rice, for serving

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Sprinkle both sides of the chicken breasts with salt, black pepper, and paprika.
02 - Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.
03 - In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the skillet.
04 - Stir in heavy cream, grated parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
05 - Return the seared chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over the chicken, and simmer for an additional 3–5 minutes.
06 - Garnish with chopped parsley and serve over pasta, rice, or steamed vegetables.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Add a squeeze of lemon juice before serving to brighten the flavors.
02 - For a lighter sauce, substitute heavy cream with half-and-half.
03 - Enhance the dish with extra parmesan and fresh basil.
