Heat olive oil or butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken for 5–6 minutes per side until golden brown and fully cooked. Remove and set aside.

In the same skillet, sauté the minced garlic for 1 minute until fragrant. Add the chicken broth and scrape up any browned bits from the skillet.

Stir in heavy cream, grated parmesan cheese, and Italian seasoning. Simmer for 2–3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.

Return the seared chicken to the skillet, spoon the sauce over the chicken, and simmer for an additional 3–5 minutes.
