Creamy Chicken Corn Pasta Bacon (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

→ Pasta and cheese

01 - 10 oz farfalle bow-tie pasta
02 - ½ cup Parmesan cheese, shredded

→ Chicken

03 - 1.5 lb chicken thighs or breasts, skinless and boneless
04 - 1.5 teaspoons smoked paprika
05 - 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
06 - ¼ teaspoon salt
07 - Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
08 - 2 tablespoons olive oil

→ Corn

09 - 2 cups corn kernels, cooked (or from 4 ears of corn)
10 - 1 tablespoon olive oil
11 - Salt and pepper, to taste
12 - 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
13 - 1 teaspoon chili powder

→ Other ingredients

14 - 1 cup heavy cream
15 - 8 strips bacon, cooked and chopped
16 - Fresh herbs (thyme, oregano, or marjoram) for garnish

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Bring a large pot of water to a boil. Cook pasta according to package instructions (usually about 10–12 minutes). Drain when the pasta is done. Proceed with the rest of the recipe while you wait for the water to boil and the pasta to cook.
02 - Shred ½ cup of Parmesan cheese. If pre-shredded cheese is used, take it out of the fridge to warm to room temperature. Place shredded cheese in a heatproof bowl near the stove to allow gentle warming.
03 - Slice chicken thighs into thinner strips. Season generously with smoked paprika, Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper. Heat a large, high-sided skillet over medium heat with 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Cook chicken for about 4–5 minutes per side, or until fully cooked. Remove from skillet and set aside.
04 - Using the same skillet, add cooked corn kernels, 1 tablespoon olive oil, salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and chili powder. Stir and cook over low heat for 3 minutes in the chicken juices to combine flavors. Remove half the corn and set aside. Add heavy cream to the skillet with the remaining corn kernels. Bring to a gentle boil, then stir in shredded Parmesan cheese. Cook on low heat until the cheese melts.
05 - Add the cooked and drained pasta to the creamy sauce. Stir in the cooked chicken. Top with chopped bacon and the remaining corn kernels. Garnish with fresh herbs such as thyme, oregano, or marjoram before serving.

# Additional Notes:

01 - Ensure the Parmesan cheese is slightly warmed before adding to the sauce for smooth melting.
02 - Fresh corn on the cob enhances flavor, but canned or frozen corn can be used as a convenient alternative.
