Cowboy Butter Chicken Linguine (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

→ For the Chicken

01 - 2 chicken breasts, sliced or cubed
02 - 1 tbsp olive oil
03 - Salt, pepper, paprika, garlic powder (to taste)

→ For the Cowboy Butter Sauce

04 - 4 tbsp butter
05 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1 tsp Dijon mustard
07 - 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes (adjust to taste)
08 - Juice of 1/2 lemon
09 - 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
10 - 1 tsp thyme or oregano
11 - 1/2 tsp smoked paprika (optional)

→ For the Pasta

12 - 250 g (about 9 oz) linguine
13 - Salt for pasta water
14 - 1/2 cup pasta cooking water (reserve)

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Season chicken with paprika, salt, pepper, and garlic powder. Heat olive oil in a skillet and cook the chicken until golden and cooked through. Set aside.
02 - In the same pan, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute. Stir in Dijon mustard, lemon juice, red pepper flakes, herbs, and paprika. Let it simmer for a minute to blend the flavors.
03 - Boil the linguine in salted water according to the package instructions. Drain, reserving 1/2 cup of the cooking water.
04 - Return the chicken to the skillet with the butter sauce. Add the drained linguine and a splash of pasta water. Toss everything until well coated and creamy.
