Cowboy Butter Chicken (Print-Friendly Version)

Juicy chicken with cowboy butter, garlic, Dijon, paprika, and fresh herbs. Irresistibly flavorful main course.

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
02 - Salt, to taste
03 - Black pepper, to taste
04 - 1 tablespoon olive oil

→ Cowboy Butter

05 - 6 tablespoons unsalted butter
06 - 4 cloves garlic, minced
07 - 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
08 - 1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
09 - 1/4 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
10 - 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
11 - 1 tablespoon chopped fresh chives (optional)
12 - 1/2 teaspoon onion powder

# How to Make It:

01 - Pat the chicken breasts dry using paper towels. Season both sides evenly with salt and black pepper.
02 - Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 4 to 5 minutes per side, until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a plate and set aside.
03 - Reduce the skillet heat to medium. Melt the unsalted butter, then stir in the minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until aromatic.
04 - Add Dijon mustard, smoked paprika, crushed red pepper flakes if desired, onion powder, chopped parsley, and chives. Stir well to combine all ingredients thoroughly.
05 - Return the seared chicken to the skillet. Spoon the cowboy butter sauce over the chicken and simmer for 2 to 3 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
06 - Serve hot. Accompany with seasonal vegetables, mashed potatoes, or rice, and drizzle extra cowboy butter sauce on top if desired.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Allow the chicken to rest briefly before slicing to retain maximum juiciness.
