# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Dough Base

01 - 1 cup butter, room temperature and unsalted
02 - 1 cup brown sugar, packed down
03 - 1/2 cup white sugar
04 - 2 large eggs
05 - 2 teaspoons vanilla extract

→ Dry Ingredients

06 - 2 3/4 cups flour, all-purpose variety
07 - 1 teaspoon baking soda
08 - 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
09 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

→ Mix-Ins

10 - 1 cup chocolate chips (either milk or dark)
11 - 1/2 cup pretzels, broken into pieces
12 - 1/2 cup M&M's or festive sprinkles
13 - 1/2 cup nuts, chopped (walnuts or pecans work great)
14 - 1/2 cup white chocolate pieces or tiny marshmallows

# How to Make It:

01 - Get your oven hot at 350°F. Put parchment paper on your baking sheets so cookies won't stick.
02 - Mix your softened butter with both brown and white sugars in a big bowl. Beat them together until you get a fluffy, light mixture.
03 - Drop in your eggs and pour the vanilla. Stir everything until it's all blended together nicely.
04 - Dump in your flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Mix just enough that you can't see any flour streaks anymore.
05 - Carefully stir in all your goodies - the chocolate chips, broken pretzels, M&M's or sprinkles, chopped nuts, and white chocolate bits or tiny marshmallows. Make sure they're spread out evenly in the dough.
06 - Grab about 1.5 to 2 tablespoons of dough for each cookie and roll into balls. Place them on your ready baking sheets with plenty of room between them.
07 - Pop them in the oven for 12 to 15 minutes until the edges look done but the middle still seems soft. Let them sit on the baking sheet for 5 minutes, then move to a wire rack to cool all the way.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Switch up what you mix in to create totally different cookie flavors each time you bake.
02 - Want a holiday touch? Try adding smashed candy canes or dribble some melted white chocolate on top after they're baked.
