02 - 2 cups self-rising flour
03 - 1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
04 - 7 fluid ounces canola or sunflower oil
05 - 3 1/2 fluid ounces whole milk
06 - 3 large eggs, at room temperature
07 - Zest of 1 large orange
08 - 3 1/2 ounces Hershey's Orange Chocolate Bar, chopped

→ Chocolate Buttercream Frosting and Decoration

09 - 7 tablespoons salted butter, softened
10 - 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
11 - 1 tablespoon unsweetened cocoa powder
12 - 1 tablespoon hot water
13 - 7 Hershey's Orange Chocolate pieces
14 - 7 red M&M's
15 - 7 mini pretzels
16 - 14 edible candy eyes

# How to Make It:

01 - Heat your oven to 350°F. Butter and line two 8-inch round cake pans with parchment.
02 - Mix the self-rising flour, baker's sugar, and cocoa powder together in a big bowl by sifting them.
03 - Pour in the oil, milk, eggs, and orange zest. Stir until you've got a smooth mix.
04 - Add the chopped orange chocolate pieces and fold them into the mixture gently.
05 - Divide the batter between your prepared pans and bake for about 25 minutes. Check if they're done by poking with a toothpick - it should come out clean. Let the cakes cool in the pans for 10 minutes before moving them to a cooling rack.
06 - Beat the softened butter, powdered sugar, and cocoa powder in a bowl until fluffy. Add the hot water and whip until you get a smooth, spreadable frosting.
07 - After the cakes have cooled completely, spread frosting on the top of one layer, place the second layer on it, then cover the whole cake with buttercream. Make cute reindeer faces using chocolate pieces for muzzles, red M&M's for noses, pretzels as antlers, and candy eyes.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Always use fresh orange zest and be careful not to grate any white pith as it'll make your cake taste bitter.
