01 - 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, at room temperature
02 - 3/4 cup granulated sugar
03 - 1 large egg
04 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
05 - 1–2 drops pink food coloring

→ Dry Ingredients

06 - 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
07 - 1 teaspoon baking powder
08 - 1/2 teaspoon salt

# How to Make It:

01 - Heat the oven to 350°F (177°C). Line baking sheets with parchment paper or silicone baking mats.
02 - In the bowl of a stand mixer fitted with a paddle attachment, beat butter and granulated sugar on medium-high speed until light and fluffy.
03 - Add egg, vanilla extract, and pink food coloring to the creamed mixture. Mix thoroughly, scraping down the sides of the bowl as needed.
04 - In a separate bowl, whisk together all-purpose flour, baking powder, and salt.
05 - Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, mixing on low speed until just combined. Do not overmix.
06 - Scoop tablespoon-sized portions of dough and roll into balls. Place them 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.
07 - Bake in the preheated oven for 12–15 minutes, or until the edges are set and tops appear slightly cracked.
08 - Allow cookies to cool on the tray for 5 minutes, then transfer to a wire rack to cool completely before enjoying.
