Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with foil and spray lightly with oil, or use a Silpat.

In a large bowl, combine ground turkey, garlic, egg, breadcrumbs, carrots, cheese, salt, and ⅓ cup of BBQ sauce. Mix until well combined.

Using a cookie scoop or your hands, form into 20–22 evenly sized meatballs and place on the prepared baking sheet.

Brush meatballs with half of the remaining BBQ sauce. Bake for 9 minutes. Flip, brush with the rest of the BBQ sauce, and bake another 7–9 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).

For extra cheesy goodness, sprinkle with additional cheese right before serving. Enjoy warm with your favorite sides!
