Cheeseburger Fry Bake (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - 4 cups frozen fries
02 - ½ cup shredded mozzarella (optional)
03 - 1 medium onion, finely chopped
04 - 1 tsp salt
05 - 1 tbsp olive oil for sautéing
06 - 2 cups grated cheddar
07 - 1 cup ketchup
08 - ½ cup diced pickles, optional topping
09 - ¼ cup milk
10 - 2 minced garlic cloves
11 - 1 tbsp yellow mustard
12 - ½ tsp ground black pepper
13 - 1 lb beef, ground

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Turn your oven on to 400°F. Lightly grease a baking dish (9×13-inch size). Keep it ready.
02 - Pour olive oil into a large pan set over medium heat. Toss in the beef and break it apart as it cooks. Keep at it for about 6–8 minutes until browned. Drain off the grease at the end.
03 - Add the chopped onion and garlic to the skillet. Cook for around 3–4 minutes, stirring now and then. Sprinkle in the salt and pepper, then mix in the ketchup and mustard. Let everything bubble together for a couple of minutes before turning it off.
04 - Lay the fries flat at the bottom of your greased dish. Spread the beef blend evenly across the fries.
05 - Drizzle milk over the casserole. Cover it with a thick layer of cheddar. If you're a fan of gooey cheese, sprinkle some mozzarella on top as well.
06 - Slide the dish into the oven. Let it bake for about 25–30 minutes. Once the fries are crunchy and the cheese is bubbling, pull it out.
07 - Throw some diced pickles on if you're using them for extra cheeseburger flavor. Dish it out while it's hot and enjoy!
