Preheat oven to 425°F. In a large mixing bowl, blend the Cheddar Bay Biscuit Mix with water and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese until a cohesive dough forms. Set aside.

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook ground beef with diced yellow onion until the beef is thoroughly browned and no pink remains. Drain excess fat.

Stir onion powder, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper into the beef mixture. Add cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well and spread evenly in the skillet.

Portion the biscuit dough into 5–6 mounds and arrange evenly on top of the beef filling.

Bake in the preheated oven for 20–30 minutes, or until biscuits are cooked through and golden brown on top.

In a small bowl, mix melted butter with Cheddar Bay Garlic Herb Blend. Brush the mixture over the freshly baked biscuits and serve hot.
