# What You’ll Need:

→ For the Cajun chicken filling

01 - 1 lb (450 g) ground chicken
02 - 1 tbsp olive oil
03 - 1 small onion, finely diced
04 - 1 bell pepper (red or green), finely diced
05 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
06 - 1/2 cup tomato sauce
07 - 2 tbsp ketchup
08 - 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
09 - 2–3 tsp Cajun seasoning (adjust to taste)
10 - Salt and pepper to taste
11 - Pinch of cayenne pepper (optional for more heat)

→ For serving

12 - 4 burger buns, toasted
13 - Optional toppings: sliced pickles, shredded lettuce, cheese, mayo, or coleslaw

# Steps to Follow:

01 - In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add onion and bell pepper. Sauté 3–4 minutes until softened. Add garlic and cook 1 more minute.
02 - Add ground chicken to the pan. Cook and break it apart until browned and fully cooked (about 5–6 minutes).
03 - Stir in tomato sauce, ketchup, Worcestershire, and Cajun seasoning. Add salt, pepper, and cayenne to taste. Simmer 5 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly and coats the chicken.
04 - Toast the buns for extra texture. Spoon the Cajun chicken mixture onto bottom buns. Add desired toppings, then close the sandwich with the top bun.
