Cajun Chicken Linguine (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

01 - 1 tbsp Cajun spice blend
02 - 1 lb chicken breast, sliced thin
03 - 2 tbsp olive oil
04 - 12 oz linguine
05 - 4 garlic cloves, finely chopped
06 - 1/4 tsp crushed red pepper flakes
07 - 2 cups of heavy cream
08 - 1 tsp paprika powder
09 - 1 cup Parmesan cheese, shredded
10 - Salt and black pepper for seasoning
11 - 2 tbsp fresh parsley, diced small

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Get a pot of water boiling and cook the pasta by following what it says on the box. Drain it and keep it close by.
02 - Sprinkle Cajun seasoning all over the chicken pieces. Give it a good mix so everything's coated.
03 - Put a big skillet on the stove over medium-high heat and pour in olive oil. Cook the chicken until it's a nice golden brown and fully cooked—this'll take about 5-7 minutes. Take it out and set it aside for later.
04 - Using the same pan, turn the burner to medium heat and toss in the garlic. Stir for a minute or so until you can really smell it.
05 - Slowly pour in the heavy cream and keep it moving with a spoon. Bring it to a gentle bubble on the stove.
06 - Mix in the Parmesan, paprika, and crushed red pepper. Let it all cook for a bit, maybe 3-5 minutes, until the sauce thickens up a little.
07 - Add a pinch or two of salt and some black pepper if it needs it.
08 - Put the cooked chicken back in the pan. Dump in the drained pasta too. Stir it all until it's coated evenly in the creamy sauce.
09 - Let the mixture cook for another couple of minutes, just until it's all warmed through.
10 - Sprinkle some parsley over the top if you want. Dish it up and eat while it’s still hot.

# Additional Notes:

01 - You can throw in more red pepper flakes if you'd like extra heat.
