Brownie Sundae Cookies (Print-Friendly Version)

# Ingredients You’ll Need:

→ Cookie Base

01 - 1/2 cup butter, unsalted
02 - 1 cup chocolate chips, semisweet
03 - 3/4 cup sugar, granulated
04 - 2 large eggs
05 - 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
06 - 3/4 cup flour, all-purpose
07 - 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, unsweetened
08 - 1/4 teaspoon salt

→ Topping

09 - 1 pint ice cream, vanilla
10 - Cherries for decoration

# How to Make It:

01 - Heat your oven to 350°F. Put parchment paper on a baking sheet.
02 - Put butter and chocolate chips in a pot. Melt them slowly over low heat while stirring. Take off the heat and let it cool a bit.
03 - Throw in the sugar, eggs, and vanilla to your chocolate mix. Stir until everything looks shiny and smooth.
04 - Mix flour, cocoa powder, and salt together. Stir this into your wet mix until you get a nice even batter.
05 - Drop tablespoons of the mix onto your lined baking sheet. Keep them about 2 inches apart. Bake for 10 minutes until the edges look set. Let them cool completely on a rack.
06 - Put a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top of each cookie once they're cool. Add a cherry on top and serve right away.

# Extra Suggestions:

01 - Make sure cookies are totally cool before adding ice cream or it'll melt too fast.
