Steam broccoli and cauliflower florets until just tender, approximately 5 minutes if fresh or 3 minutes if thawed from frozen. Drain thoroughly.

In a large mixing bowl, combine steamed vegetables, sliced turkey sausage, 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, and all the grated Parmesan cheese.

In a separate bowl, whisk together milk, sour cream, eggs, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and pepper until well blended.

Pour egg mixture over the broccoli and sausage mixture. Gently stir until all ingredients are evenly coated.

Transfer mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread into an even layer.

Scatter the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese evenly over the top.
