Turn the oven on to 190°C. Set up a baking tray for the pears.

Cut the pears in half, scoop out the cores using a spoon or melon baller, and lay them with the flat side facing up on the prepared tray.

In a bowl, mix together the blue cheese crumbles, chopped nuts, and honey until they're well blended.

Take the cheesy mixture and gently press it into the cored sections of each pear half.

Pour balsamic over the stuffed fruit, sprinkle with some black pepper, and bake for 20-25 minutes or until the pears soften and the cheese gets gooey and golden.

Once out of the oven, drizzle a bit more honey on top and add sprigs of thyme. For the best taste, enjoy them while warm.
