01 -
Set the oven to heat up to 400°F (200°C).
02 -
Place a pan on medium heat and cook the ground beef along with the onion until the meat is done and the onion looks soft and clear. This takes about 8–10 minutes. Drain any leftover grease.
03 -
Sprinkle in the salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Take the pan off the heat and keep it aside.
04 -
Lightly coat a 9-inch pie dish with some butter or non-stick spray.
05 -
Spread out the beef mixture evenly in the pie dish. Then, sprinkle the shredded cheddar cheese all over the beef layer.
06 -
Mix the Bisquick, milk, and eggs together in a bowl. Stir until you get a smooth mixture.
07 -
Evenly pour the batter mix right on top of the beef and cheese layers in the dish.
08 -
Put it into the oven for 25–30 minutes. It’s ready when the top looks golden, and a knife poked in the center comes out clean.
09 -
Wait about 5 minutes for it to cool before cutting it into slices. Add your favorite optional toppings before serving, if you'd like.
