In a skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil and cook patties for about 5-6 minutes per side or until browned. Remove from skillet and set aside.

In the same skillet, melt butter. Add sliced onions and cook until soft, about 5 minutes.

Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in beef broth, then add ketchup and Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer, stirring constantly.
