Hash Brown Ranch Bake (Printable Version)

01 - 8 large eggs
02 - 1 lb bacon, cooked crisply and chopped
03 - 1 lb breakfast sausage, browned and crumbled
04 - ½ tsp garlic powder
05 - 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, split into two portions
06 - ½ cup sour cream
07 - 1 oz dry ranch seasoning mix
08 - 1 (30 oz) bag frozen hash browns, drained after thawing
09 - ½ tsp onion powder
10 - ½ tsp black pepper
11 - 1 cup whole milk
12 - ½ tsp salt
13 - 4 oz cream cheese, softened for easier mixing

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Set your oven to 350°F (175°C) to preheat. Spray a 9×13-inch (23×33 cm) baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.
02 - Fry the bacon in a pan until it’s crispy, then drain it on some paper towels. In the same pan, cook the sausage until crumbled and golden, then pour out any extra grease.
03 - In a mixing bowl, whisk together the cream cheese and sour cream until smooth. Add in the milk, eggs, ranch seasoning, salt, onion powder, garlic powder, and black pepper. Whisk again to blend everything.
04 - Stir together the cooked sausage, bacon bits, thawed hash browns, and half of the cheddar cheese in the egg mixture. Mix it so all is evenly spread.
05 - Pour the mixture into your greased baking pan. Spread the remaining cheddar cheese across the top evenly.
06 - Cover the dish using foil and bake for 50 to 60 minutes. Once done, remove the foil and bake another 8-10 minutes until the top turns golden.
07 - Cool the casserole for five minutes before slicing it up. Serve it while it’s warm!

# Additional Notes:

01 - Make sure the hash browns are completely thawed and don’t have extra water in them. This keeps the dish from turning soggy.
