Get everything you need ready.

Turn your oven to 400°F (200°C) and cover a baking tray with parchment paper.

Coat both sides of the potato rounds with melted butter, then place them spaced out on your baking tray.

Put your tray in the preheated oven and bake until the slices are golden and soft when poked with a knife. This should take around 30 to 40 minutes. Flip them halfway through for even cooking.

Layer the potato slices with crumbled bacon, shredded cheese, and chopped green onions. Pop them back in the oven so the cheese gets gooey, about 3 to 5 minutes longer.

Take them out and serve while still warm. Add a dollop of sour cream if you'd like.
