Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Cook onions until softened, about 2 minutes. Add garlic and cook until fragrant, about 30 seconds. Stir in shredded chicken, paprika, Worcestershire sauce, and BBQ sauce. Mix well to combine and cook until evenly heated, about 2-3 minutes.

In a medium bowl, combine butter, minced garlic, and parsley. Microwave the mixture until butter is melted.

Lay 12 slices of bread on a work surface. Spread the melted garlic butter mixture evenly over one side of each slice. Turn the slices over and layer 6 slices with Havarti cheese, BBQ chicken mixture, and another layer of Havarti cheese. Top with the remaining 6 bread slices, keeping the buttered sides facing outward.

Place the prepared sandwiches in a large non-stick skillet over medium heat. Cook until the bottoms are browned, about 3-5 minutes. Flip the sandwiches, reduce heat to medium-low, and continue cooking until the other side is browned and the cheese is fully melted, about 3-5 minutes longer.
