In a large bowl, mash the ripe bananas until smooth.

Add eggs, oil (or butter), both sugars, and vanilla extract. Mix well until fully combined.

In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.

Gradually fold the dry ingredients into the wet banana mixture. Mix just until combined—do not overmix.

Gently fold in the chocolate chips.

Pour the batter into the prepared loaf pan and smooth the top. Sprinkle extra chocolate chips over the batter.

Bake for 50–60 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean (a few moist crumbs are fine).
