04 - 4 cups marinara sauce

06 - 2 large eggs
07 - 5 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
08 - 2 cups cottage cheese, divided
09 - 4 cups mozzarella cheese, shredded and divided

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and spray a 9x13 baking dish with vegetable oil spray.
02 - Cook spaghetti 2 minutes less than the package instructions.
03 - In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook the ground beef and chopped yellow onion while breaking the meat apart until fully browned, about 5-6 minutes.
04 - Stir in the marinara sauce and mix thoroughly with the meat and onions.
05 - Toss the cooked spaghetti with the kosher salt, eggs, and melted butter.
06 - Layer half of the pasta in the prepared baking dish. Add half the cottage cheese, half the meat sauce, and half the shredded mozzarella. Repeat the layering process with the remaining ingredients.
07 - Cover the baking dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.
08 - Remove the foil and bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese on top is golden brown and crispy.
