Chicken Ranch Melt (Printable Version)

# What You’ll Need:

→ Main Ingredients

01 - 4 slices of thick bacon
02 - 1 cup of cheddar cheese, shredded
03 - 4 chicken breasts, boneless and skinless
04 - Dry ranch seasoning mix, 2 teaspoons
05 - Salt, to your liking
06 - Freshly ground black pepper, based on taste

→ For Assembly

07 - 2 tablespoons of softened butter
08 - 4 sandwich buns or thick slices of bread

# Steps to Follow:

01 - Set a skillet on medium heat, cook the bacon until crispy for around 8 minutes. Drain on paper towels, then crumble it up.
02 - Give each chicken breast a sprinkle of salt and pepper. In the same pan, cook the chicken over medium heat for 6–7 minutes on each side until it's golden and cooked thoroughly.
03 - Dust the ranch seasoning over the hot chicken, sprinkle it with cheese, and cover the pan with a lid for about 2–3 minutes until melty.
04 - Spread butter on the outsides of the buns. Put together the sandwiches with the cheesy chicken and crispy bacon.
05 - In another skillet, toast the sandwiches over medium heat. Press them down lightly and flip until both sides are crispy and golden, which should take 2–4 minutes a side.
06 - Serve up the sandwiches while they're warm. Add some ranch or your favorite sauce if you'd like.

# Additional Notes:

01 - For extra creaminess, mix about a tablespoon of ranch sauce into the melted cheese when constructing the sandwich.
