Get everything ready before starting.

Set your oven to 400°F (200°C) and put down a sheet of parchment paper on a baking tray.

Coat both sides of each potato slice with the melted butter, then place them on the lined tray.

Pop the tray into the oven and bake until the potatoes are golden and soft when poked with a knife — this'll take roughly 30-40 minutes. Flip them halfway through.

Top the cooked potato slices with the shredded cheese, crumbled bacon, and green onions. Put them back in the oven for about 3-5 minutes until the cheese turns gooey.

Take the tray out and enjoy while warm. For an extra touch, feel free to dollop some sour cream on top.
